About The Project

CoinCaex is a cryptocurrency transaction that facilitates the exchange of value between individual or commercial subjects their mission is to develop technological services for financial inclusionIn short they offer secure direct transactions, transparency costumers know the transaction process, without hidden fees.

Project Results

We Created a website and dashboard design for Coincaex that managed to have: 

• Secure & Direct Transactions
• Have Transparency in which costumers know the transaction process without any hidden fees.
• Create an easy to use platform with a website that would educate the user about the values and history of the company.

How I got to the solution

The Process

The design of the website and dashboard was a 10 week process that started with establishing the visual identity of the website and then creating the dashboard platform.

• Research & Empathize: First I needed to get to understand users needs and understand how other crypto trading websites and Dashboards work.
• Define: Create an easy to use platform that fulfills Crypto exchange user needs while keeping it as simple as possible.
• Ideate: Create 3 information architecture diagrams one of the webpage, one for the dashboard and one for administrative use.
• Prototype: Rapid wire-framing
• Test & Refine: Final Design

Research & Empathize

• Research:  Did a deep dive into other crypto currency exchange platforms like Coinbase, Kraken and Binance.
• User Interviews: Conducted user interviews asking what the users wanted, liked and disliked about other platforms
• Thorough Analysis: Alongside engineers did a thorough analysis of what can be done as V1 in the webpage and the dashboard

We managed to define what the users wanted and what the client (Coincaex as a company wanted)

• Easy to use and manage
• Know real time currency prices

• Convey Security
• Give information about the new platform & other solutions offered.
• Keep it Simple

Wireframing

During the wire-framing process, I focused on simplifying the user experience by designing a dashboard with a left side menu for easy navigation. This structure allows users to seamlessly access different tasks, such as transactions, buying and selling once on the platform.

High fidelity & Testing

During the final weeks of the project I did usability studies with high fidelity testing. The primary focus was to ensure the users could complete the tasks of buying and selling crypto and navigate easily through the left side menu.

The users managed to get through the dashboard and successfully completed the tasks. Once the website and dashboard was launched it created an increase of daily users to the platform.
