Website Design for BabySkulls NFT platform

Project overview

BabySkulls are the first NFT collection made in Guatemala. A collection of 999 NFT's stored at the Ethereum blockchain. The main purpose of this collection is to help people with financial trouble to achieve financial freedom by creating a secondary market around the collection. They are inspired in the Japanese Kawaii subculture, and Mexican sugar skulls.The NFT collection was about to launch and they needed a website design for users to get to know more about the collection, what it consisted of, how and why it was created and the road map for BabySkulls

Create a landing page that would have enough information about the BabySkulls NFT Collection for users to be directed to open sea and mint more skulls.

How I got to the solutions

The Process

This was a one week project to design and develop the website. My role was to design a webpage and branding that would convey the stories of the BabySkulls collection. By reviewing the research & user personas made previously I was able to create a brand (logo and visual design) of the BabySkulls NFT collection website.

Ideate

First I dived into creating a map of the landing page making sure I would put in order the most important information for the users to get to know and understand the collection.

High-Fidelity & Testing

For high fidelity designs of the NFT BabySkulls website I based my design on the same BabySkulls imagining and creating the world they would live in. The colors and the logo design were inspired on the illustrations of Tokebi the artist that created the BabySkulls.

Launching & Results

User Feedback came back and they thought the design looked too cute. We needed to portray something that looked more technological so the UI design was changed.BabySkulls NFT collection was launched on may 2022 alongside the web page so far there has been about 200 baby skulls minting and over 300 users in the discord community.
